Biography of Bill Beardsley
Bill Beardsley was born on Independence Day, 1942, in Hanover, New Hampshire. Bill resides in Ellsworth in the house his mother was born in with Betsy, his wife of forty years. They have three children: Michael, James and Laura.
After twenty-two years as president of Husson University, Bill Beardsley has entered the race for governor of Maine. Bill successfully oversaw the transformation of a struggling business and nursing college into a vibrant and dynamic university with three times the enrollment, more than fifty degree offerings and a pharmacy school.
